Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Who we are
This website, sigma.ky, is operated by Sigma Ltd. (“Sigma”, “we”, “us”), a company based in the Cayman Islands. Sigma is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@sigma.ky or +1 345 923 5846.
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to send it through the contact form on this website. The form asks for:
- your name
- your email address
- a subject
- your message, and anything you choose to include in it
We don’t ask for sensitive personal data. Please don’t include it, or confidential Board or company information, in the contact form.
We don’t use analytics or advertising tools to track visitors. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use the details you send only to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement
- keep a record of our correspondence with you
- protect the website from spam and abuse
We process this data because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, or to take steps you have asked for before entering into an agreement with us. We don’t add contact form enquiries to any mailing list, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it except as described below.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website. They process data only on our behalf:
| Provider | What they do | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Our website hosting provider | Hosts the website | Form submissions in transit, server logs |
| Brevo (Sendinblue) | Delivers contact form emails to our inbox | Your name, email, subject and message |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Protects the contact form from spam | Device and browser information, IP address, interaction data |
| Automattic (Jetpack) | Website security, backups and image delivery | Site data, including server logs |
| Google Fonts and Font Awesome | Display the website’s fonts and icons | IP address and browser information |
Google reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside the Cayman Islands, including in the United States and the European Union. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards to protect personal data.
How long we keep it
- Contact form messages are kept in our email for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and are then deleted in line with our records policy.
- The website’s email delivery log keeps a copy of each form email for 14 days, then deletes it automatically.
- Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the site’s administration is restricted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data you send us.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie involved is set by Google reCAPTCHA, which is needed to protect the contact form from spam. If you are logged in to a Google account, Google may also recognise your browser through its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the contact form may not work without reCAPTCHA.
Your rights
Under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal data about you, and receive a copy
- ask us to correct inaccurate data
- ask us to stop processing or delete your data, where there is no good reason for us to keep it
- object to the use of your data for direct marketing
- be told about a personal data breach that is likely to affect you
To make a request, email info@sigma.ky. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Ombudsman, which oversees data protection in the Cayman Islands (ombudsman.ky).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
